At our Candle Bar, you’ll get to design and pour your very own custom candle. Choose from a wide variety of enticing scents to craft a one-of-a-kind candle that’s uniquely you. Our friendly staff will guide you through every step, making it easy, enjoyable, and perfect for all skill levels. The experience typically takes about 30-45 minutes, but for larger groups, it may take longer. Once your candle is poured, it will take approximately 2.5 hours to fully cool.
We encourage booking your Candle Bar visit ahead of time to secure your spot, as space can fill up quickly. Plus, there are added perks for groups! Groups of 5 or more automatically receive 5% off, and groups of 10 or more receive 10% off when booked online ahead of time. Larger groups get even more to celebrate—as a special treat, groups of 10 or more will also enjoy a complimentary nonalcoholic Luba Libations drink for everyone 21+ in the group starting June 1.

Each custom candle created at the Door County Candle Co. Candle Bar has an estimated burn time of roughly 60 hours. However, it’s important to note that burn time can be influenced by various factors, including the specific fragrances you choose. Because these candles are truly one of a kind, with your unique blend of scents and ratios, the exact burn time will vary from candle to candle. This adds an extra touch of individuality and charm to your handcrafted creation, making it as special as the experience itself!
Care instructions
To ensure the best burn for your one-of-a-kind candle, we have some special care instructions to follow in addition to our usual guidelines. For the first 24 hours after creating your candle, we recommend keeping it upright and out of direct sunlight. During this time, it’s important not to burn the candle, as the wax is still curing and can remain soft in the center.
Lighting your candle too soon may cause the wick to struggle, potentially shortening the candle’s overall burn time. By waiting the full 24 hours before enjoying your creation, you’ll help ensure a longer, more even burn and get the most out of your handcrafted masterpiece. Thank you for taking the extra care with your unique candle!
Shipping
If you’re planning to pour a candle but are heading out of town afterward, no worries—we’ve got you covered! We’re happy to ship your special creation right to your doorstep. Even better, shipping is completely free to a single location if your group purchases two or more candles.
To make the process as smooth as possible, simply notify one of our friendly Door County Candle team members at check-in that you’d like your candles shipped. We’ll handle the rest, so you can relax, enjoy your experience, and look forward to receiving your handcrafted creations at home.
Refunds and Rescheduling
We understand that life happens and plans can change. If you’re unable to make it to your scheduled pour-your-own candle experience, don’t worry—we’re happy to work with you on rescheduling for a time that fits your schedule. Simply give us a call, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
