Sunday Reflections ✨ 9.13.26

This weekend, a wonderful woman stopped by the candle shop and shared something with me that I know I’ll carry with me for a long time.

She told me that last week’s reflection about the seasons of change had brought her comfort after losing her husband.

Standing there together in the candle shop, I was brought to tears.

It was one of those moments that stops you in your tracks — a reminder that behind every person we meet is a story we may know nothing about. A loss they’re learning to live with. A worry they haven’t shared. A season of life that feels heavier than anyone around them realizes.

We pass people every single day without knowing what they’re carrying.

The person moving slowly ahead of you in line. The stranger who seems distracted. The person who may not return your smile. We simply never know what someone is walking through.

So this week, let’s choose kindness.

Offer the smile. Give a little extra patience. Extend grace when it would be easier not to. Lead with kindness, always.

Because sometimes the smallest gesture can reach someone in a moment when they need it most.

And a little bit of light, given freely, can mean more than we’ll ever know.
