This week, I was reminded why I love being in the store.
This week, I met John and Kate. Longtime customers, but more than that, people who’ve been quietly following along each Sunday. We got to talking, and the conversation turned to perseverance.
The kind that asks you to keep going when things feel heavy. When progress is slow. When doubt creeps in louder than belief. We shared stories, honest ones, about what it looks like to push through in life when it would be easier to stop.
It stuck with me. It was beautiful to speak so openly with people who felt like friends.
Perseverance isn’t something you’re just born with. It’s something you choose, over and over again. It’s a mindset you build, especially on the days when it feels hardest to access.
Life will always bring obstacles. That part isn’t optional. But how you move through them, that’s where your power lies.
This week was a reminder to keep going. Even when it’s messy. Even when it’s uncertain. Even when no one else can see the effort it’s taking.
Thank you, John and Kate, for taking the time to talk with me. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face. And thank you to everyone who reads these reflections. You inspire me and warm my heart more than you realize.
💛 Christiana
