Sunday Reflections ✨ 2.25.24

As I sit down to reflect on this week, waves of emotion wash over me. Yesterday marked the two-year anniversary of the war in Ukraine - a somber reminder of the trials and tribulations the people of Ukraine have endured. It's hard to wrap our minds around the magnitude of change and hardship experienced in these short but incredibly intense two years.

We've used our Facebook page to highlight stories that showcase resilience, courage and the indomitable human spirit. If you haven't seen our impactful posts yet, I encourage you to take a look here.

This morning, we were deeply moved to receive videos and photos of the tin candles we sent to Ukraine. They serve not only as a memorial for those who have tragically lost their lives but also as a beacon of hope and solidarity. The sight of soldiers expressing their gratitude for our small act of kindness filled our hearts to the brim. This is a powerful reminder that no act of compassion, however small, is insignificant.

I hope this serves as a testament to the power of individual actions. Who would have believed that we could donate $1M, one candle at a time? Yet, here we are.

Our company's mission and commitment to philanthropy began with the humble Ukraine candle. Today, we've transformed into an organization deeply rooted in giving back, standing tall in our belief in the transformative power of collective action.

As we move into March, we're excited to announce the return of our limited edition support-a-cause candle, POWERFUL. We can't wait to share this with you, so stay tuned and remember, we each have the power to make a difference.

As you start your week, I hope you remember this: Every act of kindness, no matter how small, creates ripples of change that can reach farther than we can ever imagine.
