Hey there, it's Christiana, the proud owner and Chief Candle Lover at Door County Candle. I'm so excited to share some amazing news with you all. If you're new to Sunday Reflections, it's a space where I reflect on the week, the impacts we made, and the action-driven plans we have ahead.
This past week brought another milestone for Door County Candle! We welcomed Joe, a new member to our marketing and fundraising team, and we're thrilled to have him join our action-driven crew!
Our Candle Bar is officially launched, and we've loved seeing all the special creations people are making! This Candle Bar allows people to unleash their inner artisan, make a special scent that is uniquely theirs, all while contributing to our overall mission of Candles Creating Change®! We are planning pouring for a purpose events at the candle bar, so stay tuned!
Now, for some more exciting (and impactful) news! On February 3, we are unveiling a very special candle in honor of World Cancer Day, available for just two weeks. This product is more than just a candle; it's a symbol of support, love, and unity for those touched by cancer. I can hardly contain my excitement as we prepare to share it with you and add it to your 'Support a Cause' collection. Stay tuned to learn more about this Support a Cause and our nonprofit partner. I'll give you a hint - it's an organization we already know and love that support childhood cancer research. Any guesses? :)
We are also heavily working on commemorating Ukraine's 2 year war anniversary in February. We will be launching a brand new product that supports Ukraine, and highlight the impact we've all had on helping Ukraine. Though Ukraine has fallen out of the view of many, we'll be working hard to bring what's happening back to light.
I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. You are the heartbeat of Door County Candle. Your unwavering support and boundless love spark our passion and propel us to do more, create more, and give more. Together, we are not just creating candles; we are spreading light, sharing love, and making a meaningful difference.
