Sunday Reflections ✨ 06.23.2024

Wow, what an incredible week it has been! This Thursday marked the first day of summer and the longest day of the year. With the sun shining all day long, we took the opportunity to brighten the darkness of Alzheimer’s. We honored everyone facing this disease and their amazing caregivers.

On Thursday, we proudly donated 20% of sales from our In The Vineyard scented wax products—including traditional candles, soy candles, wax melts, and votives—to The Walk to End Alzheimer's through the Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter. This cause is deeply personal to me and to so many others, and we were thrilled to have raised $145.44!

But that’s not all—yesterday, we shattered records at the candle bar, pouring just under 100 candles in a single day! We met so many amazing customers, listened to countless heartfelt stories, and truly connected with our community on a deeper level.

Nic and I also found time to start planning our new Halloween, fall, and Christmas candles. Trust me, they are going to be absolutely AMAZING, and you will LOVE them. We can't wait to share them with you!

This week also marks a significant milestone with the completion of the Highway 42 road construction! These past few months have been incredibly challenging for many small businesses, including ours, deeply affected by the road closure. It's been a tough journey, but we are overjoyed that it's finally over! And the new road looks fantastic... kudos to the construction crew! Your hard work truly shines through!

I warmly invite you to support our wonderful local businesses, even if it's just stopping by to say hi! Small businesses are the heartbeat of communities like Door County, and your support makes a world of difference, more than you may realize!

A heartfelt shoutout to our State Representative Joel Kitchens and his amazing team, especially Marco, for their constant communication, answering our questions, and keeping us updated on the construction. We are incredibly grateful.

Thank you to everyone who has stood by us during this time. Your support means everything to us and to the entire Door County community. Let's continue to uplift each other and celebrate this beautiful place we call home.

Thank you again for being such an incredible part of our community, near and far!

💛 Christiana
