Our candles have traveled near and far, bringing hope to unexpected places and touching the lives of many. We've taken meaningful steps towards creating real change, from planting trees to launching fundraising programs. We're thrilled to share our story and our impact.
Thanks to your support, we were able to create special support-a-cause candles for disaster-stricken areas around the world. From Ukraine, Turkey, Morocco and Maui, your purchases turned into thousands of dollars donated, making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected. Your love and generosity have helped us spread hope to vulnerable communities across the globe.
Arbor Day held a special place in our hearts, as we celebrated our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Through our tree-scented candle sales, we were able to plant a total of 139 trees. This serves as a symbol of our dedication to preserving our planet for future generations, and we will continue to seek out ways to make a positive impact.
Our story reached millions when we had the incredible opportunity to step into the spotlight on NBC's The Wall. It was an unforgettable experience, allowing us to share our mission with the world. Connecting with people who had never heard of Door County Candle Company before was truly inspiring, and it motivated us to keep spreading our message. We've learned that there's immense power in sharing your story with the world.
In 2024, we turned a dream into reality by launching our virtual fundraising program. With more than 20 fundraisers already planned for the coming year, we are excited to continue making a positive impact in communities across the country. We can't wait to witness the ripple effect of this program. Additionally, our quarterly support-a-cause program supported three local Door County nonprofits, allowing them to choose the scent of a 16oz traditional candle for their nonprofit. It's an honor for us to give back to our community, and we hope our efforts inspire other companies to do the same.
