Sunday Reflections ✨ 6.28.26

Let me start by telling you a little secret about these reflections. Someone asked me recently if I write a whole batch of reflections ahead of time and schedule them out so I never miss a week. My honest answer? No. I don't. I write them every Sunday morning, coffee in hand, letting the message find me in the moment. The lesson has to arrive right then, fresh and true.

And last week? Well, last week I forgot.

It was Father's Day. I spent the whole day with my dad and my family, fully wrapped up in every minute of it. He even rolled up his sleeves and helped us with a few work projects. Then we gathered around the table for a beautiful dinner at our house — laughter, good food, and the people I love all in one room.

I was so present that the rest of the world quietly faded away. And honestly? I wouldn't change a thing.

Because here's what I realized: forgetting wasn't a failure. It was the lesson itself.

We move so fast. We fill our calendars, chase our to-do lists, and somewhere along the way we forget to simply be. So this week, my reflection for you is gentle but important — make sure you find time to breathe.

Slow down. Look around. Notice the beauty in your surroundings and the company right beside you. Soak it all in.

The work will wait. The moment won't.

Take a deep breath, my friend. You've earned it. 💛
