Driving home with Nic the other day, I found myself completely mesmerized by the world around us. The colors of the leaves right now—blazing reds, golds, and oranges—are absolutely breathtaking. Each tree seems to tell its own story, and together, they’re painting Door County in the most stunning tapestry of fall. It always fills me with such gratitude for this season, which truly is one of the most beautiful times of the year.
What I love most about fall is the gentle wisdom it offers. Watching the leaves change colors reminds me that growth and transformation are a natural part of life. And when those leaves finally let go, drifting softly to the ground, there’s something both bittersweet and freeing in that moment. It’s nature’s way of showing us that sometimes, we need to release what’s weighing us down or simply no longer serves us, so we can welcome in something new.
Yes, change in life is often hard—sometimes it even feels scary—but it also carries with it hope and a sense of renewal. Just like the trees get ready for a new season, we too can embrace these transitions with open hearts.
Wishing you a peaceful, cozy Sunday. I hope you have a chance to light your favorite candle, savor the glow, and reflect on the beauty of your own journey—even the parts where you’re learning to let go.
With warmth,
💛 Christiana
