As another week comes to a close, we find ourselves basking in the gentle glow of our Door County Candle family. It’s moments like these that remind us why we started this journey—to bring warmth, light, and a touch of magic into your homes.
This week has been truly special. We've heard from so many of you about how our candles have become a cherished part of your daily routines. Some have shared stories of quiet evenings spent reading by candlelight, while others have found solace in their favorite scents after a long day. It’s these personal connections that make what we do so meaningful.
One story that particularly touched our hearts came from Emily, a loyal customer who has been with us since the beginning. She shared how lighting our Lavender candle each night has become a ritual that helps her unwind and find peace amidst the chaos. Emily’s story is a beautiful reminder of the impact small moments can have on our well-being.
We also had the pleasure of welcoming new customers to our candle bar this week. Watching the joy and creativity unfold as each person crafted their unique candle was truly inspiring. It’s a testament to the power of community and the shared love for creating something beautiful. One particular scent, Summer Cocktail in the Rain, truly smelled like a summer celebration.
I've had the opportunity to speak with other business owners in the area, and it's been incredibly challenging for many of us. However, seeing your smiling faces in our stores means the world to us. Thank you. Despite the impact of the construction, the sight of so many customers walking through our doors brings us more joy than you can imagine. THANK YOU! As we are midway through construction, we look forward to it being done by end of June. We can't wait for you all to see the new road & are grateful for all the highway improvements that have been made.
As we move forward into a new week, we are also excited to share that our summer hours are in full swing! We are now open Monday - Saturday from 9:30-5PM, and 9:30AM-4PM on Sundays.
